A customer placing an order on ShareStation’s website (www.sharestation.in) or through an online order form agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions.
1. Rental Agreement
When renting a product from ShareStation, the customer enters into a rental agreement with ShareStation. This agreement grants the customer the right to use the product upon payment of the rental fee. The customer is considered the temporary holder of the usage rights for the product. Ownership of the product remains with ShareStation, and the product must be returned in the same condition as it was received.
2. Contract Duration
The rental period is determined by the duration selected by the customer at the time of order placement. The product must be returned by the specified return date in the same condition as it was delivered. If the customer wishes to return the product before the rental period ends, no refund will be issued. Extensions of the rental period are subject to product availability and ShareStation’s discretion.
3. Payment Policy
The total payment for each order includes the rental fee and any applicable delivery/pick-up charges. Payments can be made online when placing the order, via a payment link upon delivery, or through Cash on Delivery (COD).
4. Delivery Policy
Orders will be delivered on the selected delivery date to the specified address. Standard delivery times are between 3 PM and 8 PM. Customers will be notified of any delays by our operations team. Delivery is managed by our team, and a thorough quality check is performed before delivery. Customers should inspect the product upon receipt and report any damages within 2 hours to arrange for an exchange. ShareStation does not guarantee the availability of the same item for exchange, and no refunds will be issued after delivery.
5. Pick-up Policy
Products must be returned to ShareStation the day after the rental period ends.
Doorstep Pick-up – Rented products will be collected by ShareStation or a designated third-party courier the day after the rental end date at the address provided during order placement. Pick-up time is between 10 AM and 1 PM. This service is free of charge.
6. Damage Policy
Customers are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the rented products. ShareStation will inform the customer of any issues upon receiving the returned product. Customers agree to cover the costs associated with such damages or losses.
What constitutes damage?
Any permanent change in the product’s appearance or functionality is considered damage. Minor wear and tear from normal use is not considered damage.
Deposit Deduction
If the product is damaged, repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit amount, the customer will be responsible for the additional costs.
Repairable Damage
Actual repair cost plus Rs 250 for logistics expenses.
Irreparable Damage
The customer must pay 70-90% of the product’s current retail price based on its age. The customer can keep the product after payment.
Loss or Theft
The customer must pay 70-90% of the product’s current retail price based on its age.
7. Verification Policy
All customers must complete a verification process set by ShareStation, which may include identity, occupation, PAN, and address verification. The order will be confirmed only after successful verification. ShareStation reserves the right to cancel the order if the verification is incomplete or unsatisfactory, with any payments refunded within 3 working days.
8. Zero Deposit Policy
To enhance accessibility, ShareStation has eliminated the deposit requirement for select items. Customers are still responsible for any damage, loss, or theft according to the established terms:
Repairable Damage: Actual repair cost plus Rs 250 for logistics expenses.
Irreparable Damage: Payment of 70-90% of the product’s current retail price, depending on its age. The customer may keep the product after payment.
Loss or Theft: Payment of 70-90% of the product’s current retail price, depending on its age.
An additional invoice will be issued for any charges related to damage, loss, or theft, ensuring transparency and clarity.
9. Extension Policy
If the customer cannot return the product by the specified return date, they must extend the rental period and pay the additional rental fees. There are no penalty charges, only the rent for the extra days.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, customers acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of all policies outlined above.
